Hi! Something new: I do a fill-in show on WFMU. It's very late at night most of the time; the next one is Thursday February 2nd at 3am (aka Wednesday latenight)! Don't worry EST guests, you can check out the archives the morning after. I'm mentioning it here on account of if everything goes correctly html-wise, there will be a lot of animated gifs happening on the playlist page! I'm having a great time animating them & if you like the gifs here you'll surely like the gifs there. Hey I really need to make a comics section...I'm going to do that soon! Guess what I even have a top secret 5-page comic that will be released in Dimensions 4 (click that!) (not sure of date yet..)! Curated by Zejian Shen, (click that too!) who knows what she's doing. Anyway, in the meantime while that comic is top secret you can look at this one to tide you over. Hey everyone! I got rid of the tumblr feed on account of it wasn't really doing what I wanted it to. Now all the "rss" links on the side link to the tumblr that will be used in a normal tumblr fashion....follow me! Well, sorry I lied about the "comic in a week" thing. Many things happened suddenly & I had to divert my attention to something else. Anyway, I have a new reel to show for it at least! I was asked by Mozzign Corp. to design & animate a few e-card style illustrations for a competition for apps for Samsung HD TVs. Anyway I don't think we won the competition but it was a really great assignment & this new reel includes them. Click the above image or here to see it.
Wait! I did make a comic page after all, however it's textless & mainly just a testing situation experimenting with different digital inking styles & colors & things...so there's really zero content in terms of message or story but it's kind of interesting. That image under this text is the first panel. It's also a link to the whole page which will open in a new window. It's one megabyte though. I'm just telling you.

I am working on a comic! For real this time. It's called "Good Idea" & it's going to be 10 episodic pages. I know that I will really be doing this on account of I already have one page pretty much done. I'm going to experiment with some digital coloring & inking stuff, as much as I revel in inking withan ink pen... anyway a page should be up here in a week or so. Here's a little thing I did in the meantime, it was a hit on pixiv.
